Flying Wild Alaska cast are now either retired or moving on with their life in their profession. The show premiered on the Discovery Channel on 14 January 2011.

The show included individuals doing exciting activities in addition to aviation. Era Alaska, Alaska's largest regional airline, battled with the difficulties of operating in the beautiful but severe Alaskan wilderness for three seasons.

The flying Tweto family was crucial to the story: Jim, Era's Chief Operating Officer and in-demand jungle aviator; his wife Ferno, Station Manager and the sisters Ayla and Ariel, multi-tasked ground personnel.

Ariel Tweto is an essential character in the storyline. The show has three seasons and 31 episodes with a run time of approximately 43 minutes.

The Discovery Channel television program broadcast from January 14, 2011, through July 20, 2012. Flying Wild Alaska is a 43-minute adventure television show. The show centered on the Tweto family's administration of Era Alaska, now Ravn.

The Twetos were followed as they moved products and people throughout rural Alaska, experiencing challenging circumstances and circumstances along the route.

The narrative revolved around the optimistic Ariel Tweto, daughter of Era's chief operating officer, Jim Tweto. Flying Wild Alaska was not renewed for a fourth season by Discovery Channel.

In conclusion, Flying Wild Alaska has been canceled and will not return to Discovery Channel for another season. However, according to Disciples Flight, the series terminated because Jim wanted to retire.

Ariel Tweto

Ariel Tweto is a TV personality, producer, pilot, adrenaline junkie, and travel enthusiast. She pursued her passion for flying following three seasons of Flying Wild Alaska and receiving her private pilot license.

Tweto has pursued a variety of media careers. In 2013, she presented the Sundance Institute's Native Shorts television series; in 2014, she hosted the Miss Alaska USA competition.

She appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She is a part of MzeroA Flight Training's Flying Again feature film and collaborated with them on a training video titled "Turning Stalls With Ariel Tweto," which was uploaded on YouTube on June 4, 2015.

She began her training in a Cessna 207, then graduated to a Cessna 150 before finishing in a brand-new Cessna 172. Along the way, she encountered difficulties, such as landing in a 15-knot crosswind on her first solo flight and dealing with radio issues on a solo cross-country flight.

Ariel loves to fish out of the water and anything related. She also started a non-profit called Popping Bubbles. Their mission is to pop the bubbles that prevent people from living happy and healthy lives.

She is currently developing and seeking sponsors/financial support for a travel show called Falling Up, which is tied into Popping Bubbles. She graduated from Emerson College with a degree in TV/Film/communications from 2006 - 2008.

Later she joined Chapman University in 2008 and graduated in 2012. Ariel is active on Instagram under the name @arieltweto, where 109k accounts follow her. She has a verified Instagram account.

Jim Tweto

Jim Tweto was born on 26 November 1954 in Wichita, Kansas. James Bradley Tweto is his full name. He was raised in Silver Bay, Minnesota.

He was 18 when he relocated to Alaska after winning a hockey scholarship to the University of Alaska-Anchorage. In the early 1980s, he earned his commercial pilot's license.

He migrated to Unalakleet and started manufacturing fishing boats. He named his business Gussik Ventures which he got its name from the Eskimos' nickname for white people.

He has only had one accident in his whole flying career, which broke his neck in 2007. He returned to work as soon as he could fly planes in Alaska's harsh environment. He is a successful pilot.

He married Ferno Tweto in 1988. Elaine, Ayla, and Ariel Tweto are the couple's three children. His wife has supported him through good and bad times.

The couple collaborated to make Jim's company a million-dollar success. Jim and Ferno's little business amalgamated with Hageland Aviation in 1990 and Era Alaska in 2008.

Jim became the COO of Era and incorporated with Frontier Flying Service in 2009 and became the largest regional airline in Alaska. Jim has a net worth of $20 Million, as per The Richest.

Ayla Tweto

Ayla Tweto was born to parents Jim Tweto and Ferno Tweto. She has two siblings, Ariel and Elaine Tweto. Ayla is a TV personality known for Flying Wild Alaska.

Tweto is a dog lover and has a dog named Sidney. She loves sharing a meme on her Instagram. She is a foodie and often shares her food pictures. Ayla rides a bike, crashes once, and gets her ankle sprained.

She is a member of the ground crew at Unalakleet. She spends every weekend with her family in Unalakleet and holds a private aviation license.

She is a funny girl who once joked about her sister Ariel by making her funny corn face. She works on a farm where she often gets dirty by mud. She has an apple farm.

Ayla seems to enjoy every aspect of her life. She often shares her parent's pictures on her Instagram. Ayla is active on Instagram under the username @aylat907.

She has 3807 followers and 203 posts, where she follows 1281 accounts. She currently resides in Anchorage and is pursuing a career as a paramedic.

Ferno Tweto

Ferno Tweto is the wife of pilot Jim Tweto and mother of three daughters. Ferno is a TV personality known for Flying Wild Alaska.

She is the family-based Era Alaska airline station manager in Unalakleet, Alaska. She grew up in Unalakleet after being born in Anchorage.

She is also a pilot and earned a degree from pilot training in Everett, Washington, in 1981. Ferno met Jim when he moved to Unalakleet in 1980, and they married after eight years in 1988.
