Is Crispin Blunt Related To Anthony Blunt?

Crispin Blunt and Anthony Blunt are not related to each other.

People usually get confused because of their similar surnames. Many people may also think of Crispin as a child of Anthony.

Chrispin Blunt was one of his parents' three sons, Adrienne Richardson and Major-General Peter Blunt.

His father was a British Army officer and a businessman. He saved one of his drivers' life and was awarded the George Medal for risking his own life.

Peter married his wife, Adrienne, in 1949. She is the daughter of General T.W. Richardson.

Chrispin has two siblings, Oliver Blunt QC and the other one's name unrevealed.

He is also related to an American actress, Emily Blunt.

Crispin Blunt married his wife Victoria Jenkins in September 1990 in Kensington.

The couple was living a happy life until he decided to accept his sexuality.

In August 2012, he left his wife and came to terms with his homosexuality since they remained separated but never divorced.

Victoria has always been supportive of him. She has also supported her husband for his homosexuality.

Though they are not together with each other, they are living happy life separately.

Crispin Blunt and his wife, Victoria Jenkins, are parents to two children, Claudia, and Federick Jenkins.

Claudia is the eldest daughter. She was born in March 1992.

Federick is the youngest son, and he was born in August 1994.

Anthony Blunt was born on September 26, 1907, to his parents, Stanley Vaughan Blunt and Hilda Violet.

Anthony was a British art historian and Soviet spy. He has also worked as a professor and an author.

Nicolas Poussin's monograph is still a watershed book in art history.

Blunt was also a founder of a political magazine, Venture, in 1928. He won a scholarship to Trinity College, Cambridge.

He had worked part-time at the Royal Library and was offered and accepted the job of Surveyor of the King's Pictures.

Blunt also received honorary fellowships and became the National Trust's picture adviser.

Unfortunately, on March 26, 1983, he lost his life in Westminster, London, when he was 75 years old.

His burial place was Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium, London, England, in 1983.
