Trudi Inslee is the loving wife of American politician Jay Robert Inslee, who has served as the 23rd governor of Washington state since 2013. Member of the Democratic Party, Jay became a member of the US House of Representatives from 1993 - 1995 and again from 1999 - 2012.

2020 Democratic Presidential nomination, Inslee, was born and raised in Seattle. He attended the University of Washington and Willamette University College of Law. From 1989 until 1993, the politician served in the Washington House of Representatives. Besides being a politician, he is also a lawyer and economist.

In the US House of Representatives, Inslee was elected to represent Washington's 4th congressional district based around Central Washington. After defeating for reelection in 1994, he returned to private legal practice. In 1996, he made his first run for governor of Washington.

Inslee came in fifth in the blanket primary and acquired 10 percent of the vote ahead of the general election, which was won by an American politician, Democrat Gary Locke. Trudi Inslee, the loving wife of Jay Inslee, was born and brought up in Washington state. She graduated from Ingraham High School in Seattle and attended Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, where she studied sociology and political science. 

She and her husband tied their marital knot on August 27, 1972. The couple then moved to a rural community in Eastern Washington, where they raised their three amazing sons. In 1995 the family returned to western Washington and had since inhabited Kitsap.

Trudi is the daughter of public golf course pro and former coach of the University of Washington, a passion that he eventually passed on to his lovely daughter, which she reportedly enjoys to this day. She was associated with a non-profit publisher and consultant on independent film documentaries.

She actively contributed to organizations and various programs serving children and women victims of homelessness, sexual assault, and hunger. Trudi also promoted early-learning programs. Maintaining a professional life, she also manages her time for her family, loving husband, and kids.

Jay Inslee met his future wife, Trudi Inslee, at Ingraham High School during his sophomore year. The love birds eventually fell in love and started dating, leading to their marriage on August 17, 1972. After four years of marriage in 1976, the couple moved to Selan in Eastern Washington, across the river from Yakima.

It was Selah that Jay and Trudi involved themselves in public service, helping campaign for a new high school. After spending nearly two decades in Eastern Washington, the family moved back to Western Washington in 1995. Currently, the family is the glad occupant of Kitsap County. Over the years, Trudi has supported and volunteered with various local non-profit organizations that focus on the needs of women and children.

She continued to support the social services programs and organizations that provided services to the victims of sexual assault, trafficking, and domestic violence, as well as issues related to hunger, homelessness, reproductive rights, health care, early learning, climate change, and sensible firearm safety.

Trudi and her husband are very dedicated to solving climate change. After announcing his candidacy, Jay openly said that global warming would be his main issue in the 2020 presidential campaign. His wife has also shared with the reporters that she hopes to support clean energy and policies that will provide job security and improve the environment.

After Jay finished law school, he moved to Selah with his family, a suburb of Yakima. There he joined Peters, Schmlas, Leadon & Fowler, a law firm, serving as a city prosecutor. In 1988, Jay ran for the Washington House of Representatives after incumbent Republican State Representative Jim Lewis stepped down from the office. Lynn Carmichael, his opponent, was the former mayor of Yakima and was named the front-runner.

He struggled to balance his more robust ideology with the conservative knowledge of Central Washington. Jay's campaign tried to rectify the issue by emphasizing his legal experiences and his rural upbringing supporting local people,e, businesses, and farms. The Washington State Trial Lawyers Association eventually became his most significant contributor.
