Jesse and Brain are onscreen couples in the reality show Catfish. The onscreen couple was separated in the August 2013 episode.

Jesse and Brain first met on Facebook, and they have three long years of romantic relationships on Facebook. According to republic world, the couple decided not to pursue a relationship despite their attraction after their first meeting. 

After three years of their separation, in December 2016, Brian died in a bike accident after suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. He was hit by a passing car on the highway around 5 p.m.

The show and its cast were shocked by Brian's unimaginable loss, and the show also provided him tribute in its Friday night episode, remembering his moments in the show. 

Moreover, his onscreen partner Jesse also made a Facebook post with an emotional caption mentioning the unforgettable time she spent with him during their three years of relationship.

According to the The Things, the couple had been dating and met for the first time through the MTV series. They both lied to one another about their names and photographs. When the two first met, they clicked and agreed to be together.

Mike suddenly died from a pulmonary embolism just one month after the program aired. While in 2016, after three years of Mike's death, Ashley also passed away because of a narcotic overdose. 

2. Matt And Kim 

Matt and Kim are the show stuffer in the series. The couple is shown in the series's seventh season, and they have been truthful in their relationship despite having never met.

3. Leuh And Justin 

Leuh and Justin first met on Instagram and communicated for several years. Leuh at first felt a connection with him but was dissapointed after two failed attempts to meet up.

They decided to make their relationship work after meeting on Catfish. However, their friendship hasn't changed.

4. Kya And Alex

Kya and Alex are couples who hide their truth from each other. Kya admitted that she lied to her partner and began believing Alyx was also lying about his identity. 

Alyx was eventually found to be a transgender man named Dani when Catfish intervened. Nevertheless, they decided to continue being a pair.

According to The Things, the pair broke up following the show's recording. After the show, Dani completed his transition after undergoing gender reassignment surgery, and Kya got engaged to someone else. They no longer communicate or stay in touch.

5. Rico And James

Rico and James were one of the unique couples in the series. In the hopes of finding true love, James told Rico a falsehood about his profession.  

Rico was shocked after he first met James and knew his original profession and his real name. In addition to his fake job and character, he also had a criminal record of stealing buses.
