Susan Gianforte is the first lady of Montana and the Wife of an American Businessman and politician, Greg Gianforte.
She is the daughter of German immigrants to New York City. Her widowed mother raised Susan.
Mrs. Gianforte completed her bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and her master's in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
She did a Master's in Business Administration, which she earned while working for Bell Laboratories.
After completing her educational career, she worked as a senior manager At NNC but resigned in 1993 after her third child was born.
Susan started helping her husband in his new entrepreneurial effort following the sales of his first start-up.
In 1995, she moved to Bozeman, Montana, with her husband and had their fourth child.

His Wife, Susan, and Greg co-founded RightNow Technologies in 1997. In 2004, the company went public with more than 1,000 workers and executives.
Right Now Technologies was acquired by oracle corporation for $1.5 billion in 2011. After success in their first company, Gianforte and his wife founded the Gianforte Family Foundation.
Greg has also offered business lectures on entrepreneurship and building a global business.
A special election was held to fill the remainder of Zinke's term, where Gianforte announced his intention to seek the seat in January.
He represented Montanas in a Large congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021.
