Terry Lee Flenory Wife Tonesa Welch Was In The BMF
Terry Lee Flenory wife Tonesa Welch is known as the first lady of the Black Mafia Family. Tonesa and Terry are no longer together.
According to her website, Tonesa was born on August 11 and reared with her mother and stepfather in Detroit. There are three elder brothers in her family.
She was captivated by the drug dealer's wife's luxury automobiles, fine clothing, and stunning looks. Earlier she wanted to be one of them.
After two unsuccessful romances involving local dealers, she pursued her interests. Before taking a gamble and exposing BMF founder Terry Southwest T., she was a queenpin.
Welch worked with the country's most notorious organized criminal organization, The Black Mafia. The venture evolved into a multibillion-dollar transcontinental cocaine pipeline.
She felt she was living the ideal life until everything fell apart in 2006. Tonesa was convicted in the infamous Operation Motor City Mafia raid, a series of federal drug and racketeering convictions that led to the organization's dissolution.
She received a sentence of around five years for money laundering. Her addiction to wealth, power and a high-stress lifestyle led to her demise and harmed her family.
She quit the game after being discharged but retained the hustler's attitude. Her commitment to women's rights inspired her to start Sylent Heart Inc, an organization that campaigns for incarcerated women with children and assists at-risk adolescents.
Tonesa is now a dedicated mother of three children and a successful businesswoman. She is a brand ambassador for ConCreates and a member of the American Association of Women Against Domestic Violence's Advisory Board.
A survivor of violence, Tonesa now travels the country, telling her story to other women who are also trying to rebuild their lives after experiencing trauma.
In 2020, Toni starred in "The True Story of Tonesa Welch" on the highly acclaimed BET+ documentary series "American Gangster: Trap Queens," in which she reveals how she recovered popularity following her release from jail.
