Alex Guarnaschelli Left The Kitchen After She Had A Breakup
Alex Guarnaschelli left The Kitchen after she ended her relationship with Michael Castellon. She ended her engagement in February 2022.
After their marriage eventually ended, Guarnaschelli confirmed in June 2020 that she was engaged to Chopped champion chef Michael Castellon, who had proposed to her over the weekend of June 19–20 on her birthday.
Variety reports that the renowned chef Alex Guarnaschelli has reportedly agreed to a new, exclusive contract with Discovery's Food Network.
The agreement would cover initiatives for daytime and primetime shows and the cable outlet's linear and digital growth. The deal is the most recent in a string of new contracts that Discovery and various performers on its talent list have reached.
According to the agreement, Guarnaschelli will co-host "The Kitchen," continue to be a judge on "Chopped," and produce new episodes of the digital series "Fix Me A Plate," which chronicles the chef's behind-the-scenes experiences at some of her favorite restaurants.
She started her career in 2020 as a co-host on The Kitchen show. Following the breakup with her ex-fiancé, chef Michael Castellon, she took a leave of absence from her career in the food industry in February 2020.
According to Food Network, she returned to the kitchen in August 2022 with the debut of her program, Alex vs. America.
