Cindy Lankford husband Early life and education
James Lankford was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 4, 1968. He is the son of School librarian Linda Joyce and James Wesley Lankford.
Lankford's grandparents have a small dry-cleaning business, and his father owned a dairy farm.
James' parents divorced when he was four years old. His mother, Linda Joyce, raised him and lived with his older brother in his grandparent's home.
After eight years of divorce, his mother remarried and moved to Garland, Texas, with his stepfather.
He joins Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland. He completed his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990.
In 1994, Lankford finished his master's degree in Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological seminary.
While studying, he worked as a substitute teacher and speech team assistant at Pflugerville High School.
After completing of master's degree, he moved to Edmond, a suburb of Oklahoma City, where he is currently staying.
He served as program director of Falls Creek from 1996 to 2005, the largest Christian camp in the U.S.
