Jean Stoffer is married to her husband Dale Stoffer. Jean and Dale have been together on her business every step of the way.

Stoffer got her Business Degree and worked as a business manager at a small interior design firm, where she grew to the home design concept.

She used to take night classes at Junior College to learn drafts and read everything about designing, after which she began to decorate her own home, according to the Grand Rapids Magazine.

She started her own business at 24 when other people asked her for help designing their homes. She started Jean Stoffer Design in Chicago, where her family originally lived.

She primarily focuses on kitchen design projects and enjoys more analytical things in design, like cabinetry design and space planning. She stayed with the theme for over 20 years and focused only on custom kitchen design before she began a partnership with her daughter Grace.

She has her show named The Established Home. In the show, she takes on some of her most ambitious projects around her hometown in southwest Michigan and guides the viewers through home design.

Jean Stoffer and husband Dale Stoffer currently resides in their 8500-square-foot home, which they call The Madison.

Madison is located in a residential area called Heritage Hill. Jean remodeled the entire house with the help of her daughter, Grace, before moving in with her spouse.

Her partner, Dale, is the primary helping hand behind her successful business venture. Not only did he help her with business, but they also raised a beautiful family.

Dale lived together with his family in Chicago originally. But after their daughter began college, the couple started looking into real estate opportunities in Grand Rapids.

After that, the couple relocated from Chicago to Grand Rapids. The primary reason was to be close to the rest of their family and the availability of business opportunities.

Dale retired in 2017. Following his retirement, he has played an essential role in managing their retail and online store, Stoffer Home.

In a Distractfy interview, Jean said her spouse is responsible for trash removal and recycling. He also helps with many pickups and deliveries to and from their local vendors and makers.

The pair’s family consists of four children and grandchildren. She also mentioned how her other half takes being a grandparent to the elite level.

Jean and Dale, along with their entire family, relocated to Michigan. The family relocated after Grace started college at Calvin.

Grace was the first one to make her home in Grand Rapids. She met her partner, Ted, at college. The couple then decided to stay in the Rapids area. Her younger brother had already joined Calvin by that time.

Grace and her partner got their hands on rental properties. They purchased quite a few pieces of real estate in the same area, including the house.

Family involvement had always been significant to Jean. She hired her oldest son Dave to take care of the rental properties. Soon after, the couple and their four children moved to Michigan.

They also brainstormed together on the idea of opening Stoffer Home. They also established Stoffer Home Cabinetry as an offshoot of the pair’s design projects.

Dan manages all the StofferHome inquiries and estimates. He has also opened The Bradbury. It is a French-inspired café inside their retail store on Wealthy Street.

Dan’s wife, Marisa, does all the floral work in their events, which they also sell at Stoffer Home regularly.

Similarly, her son and daughter-in-law, John and Maura Stoffer, are responsible for all the photographs of the firm’s works. Ted also helps with cabinetry installations.
