Christi Pirro worked as a Law Clerk to Chief Judge Arthur J. Gonzalez at Bankruptcy Court, S.D.N.Y. from 2010 to 2011.
After that, she worked as an Associate in Weil Gotshal and Managed from 2011 to 2014.
While working as an Associate, her duty was to represent and advise debtor and creditor, both in and out of court.
That is also included in the chapter 11 cases of A.E.S. Eastern Energy, Lehman Brothers, and Washington Mutual.
From 2014 to 2016, she worked as I.W.I.R.C. Board Member in the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
Christi worked as Restructuring Partner at Kirkland & Ellis from 2014 to 2019.
Pirro also worked on S.D.N.Y. Bankruptcy Court Local Rules Committee at S.D.N.Y. Bankruptcy Court Local Rules Committee from 2016 to 2019.
Currently, she is working as Kirkland & Ellis at Ropes & Gray L.L.P.
She represents well-known debtors worldwide and has been named "40 under 40" by the American Bankruptcy Institute and Global Restructuring Review.
Christi has spoken in many forums, like the American Bankruptcy institute's Complex Financial Restructuring Program, and at the Wharton School. Christi also teaches Arthur J. Gonzalez's N.Y.U.
