His Father and mother were immigrants from Lebanon. Nader's Father, Nathra Nader, worked in textile before becoming a restaurant owner.
He was interested in working in field research on Native American issues and migrant worker rights. As LL.B student o Harvard Law School, he identified with Libertarian Philosophy in his youth.
Nader had proved himself as a household name. A memo was written by Lewis Powell where he warned Nader that he had become famous in his time and an idol of Americans.
In 1971, he appeared in the press as a potential presidential candidate, where he got a chance to run as the presidential candidate for the New Party.
