Steve Williamson is the husband of an American politician, Pramila Jayapal.

Pramila has been serving in the United States House of Representatives. She has represented Washington's 7th congressional district since 2017.

Her area covers most of Seattle as well as some suburban areas of King Country.

Jayapal is the first Asian American to represent Washington at the Federal level. She is also the first Indian-American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and the district's first female member of congress.

Steve Williamson is the Director of Community Affairs and Assistant to the President of UFCW Local 21.

He went to Gate Way Senior High School from 1972 to 1975. After graduating, he joined Penn State University and completed his bachelor's degree in Religious Studied in 1979.

Williamson started his career in the early 80s working at Bricklayer/Marbel Manson.
