Is Neteyam Coming Back In Avatar 3? Here Is What The Avatar 2 Ending Meant

Neteyam's return to Avatar 3 is very likely as Hollywood is notorious for bringing characters back. Neteyam suffered from bullet wounds and was killed at the end of Avatar 2.

As mentioned by collider, cast of Avatar 3 is out, which includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Cliff Curtis, Bailey Bass, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald. 

Famous voice actor from Minions: The Rise of Gru, Michelle Yeoh, will play a character named Dr. Karina Mogue.

And Talisa Maegyr from Game of Thrones will perform as Varang, one of the new Navi. These are some new faces the audience will see in avatar 3.

What Happened To Neteyam Aka Jamie Flatter In Avatar 2?

After humans return to pandora, Neteyam leads his parents to attack humans. He helped to cut off the supply chain to Bridgehead.

He was supposed to be a spotter but he and Lo'ak, his brother, helped gather weapons from the ground. His younger brother and other siblings went to the battleground, and Neteyam later located and rescued his siblings.

In the process of recusing, Net's brother was abducted. After the growing threats, he and the rest of his family were forced to move to the lands of the Metkayina Clan.

Later, Net was tracked by the RDA whalers planning to kill him. Later he removed the tracker and led the whalers away.

His brother and others get kidnapped, and he arranges for Seadragon to rescue them. He shoots the human to cover his siblings but gets shot in the chest by returning fire.

Jake's father tried to stop his bleeding, but it was too late as the bullet exited the wound. His blood was not stopping, and he died immediately.

The Metkayina clan held Neteyam's funeral at the Cove of the Ancestors. His mother sang her song cord for his deceased son, and her son was laid to rest in the cove. In the movie, it is shown that Neteyam's spirit was not aware of his death. 

Neteyam is 15 year old son of Jake Sully and Neytiri. He is the oldest child of five children and two of the sibling are adopted.

He initially has one brother Lo'ak and his sister, Tuktirey. Kiri and Miles Socorro are adopted. Neteyam was the firstborn of the clan chief, and the whole Omaticaya tribe celebrated his birth.

His father, Jake, taught him to hunt with a bow at a very young age as he was entitled to the title of the chief Omaticaya, so his parent spent most of their time teaching him the necessary education and experience.

He succeeded in the Iknimaya ritual and bonded with a mountain banshee on his first attempt. He supported his younger brother as he could not succeed in his first attempt.

Neteyam's personality was shown as kind, responsible and robust virtue and a golden child of a family. He took his position as the oldest child very seriously. His parent always gives him the responsibility of looking after his siblings.

Neteyam is very close to his father and has a trusting relationship with him. He always tries to avoid trouble and follows his father's orders.

He always tried to live up to his father's expectations. Net was also very protective of his sister, and his sister gave him respect and saw him as a father figure.

Neteyam is also very protective of his adoptive sibling and risks his life to save Miles. He died protecting his three siblings, received a funeral, and was buried in the Cove of the Ancestors.

Neteyam Family History

Neteyam ancestors live in the Omatikaya clan. They belong to the Navi tribe. Omatikaya is Pandora's colossal jungle, and they previously lived in the Hometree.

They shared a deep connection with the forest; even three Toruk Maktos, Jake Sully, Toruk Makto, and Entu, are members of the clan. After their house was destroyed, they moved to Metkayina Clan.

Metkayina Clan is located in the reef of pandora, and people there belong to oceanic Navi. They have seemingly adapted to the aquatic lifestyle and ride Direhorses. 

Eytukan was the chief of Omaticaya and grandfather of Neteyam. He was killed when their home tree fell as wood implied him through the chest. 

Tsahìk is a spiritual leader of Omaticaya and grandmother of Neteyam. She is also psychic and acts as the bridge to Na'vi's beliefs.

Neytiri is a Neteyam mother and the lead of the movie. She helps Jake and becomes his teacher. Jake and Neytiri get married and share three children Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Tuktirey.

They also adopted two children, Miles Socorro and Kiri, even though their other family members were against it.
