Is Amy Klobuchar Jewish? Learn More About Her Religion
2020 presidential nominee Amy Klobuchar embraced her Jewish heritage when the matter came up during the debate session.
The Minnesota Congresswoman was one of the top candidates from the democratic party as she committed to bipartisanship, a streak shown by her counterparts from the Republican side.
Indeed, she is the definition of the American dream as she came from a state with a small Jewish population of at least fifty thousand people.
Despite her proclaims and declarations, people still ask if she were a Jesiwsh. To which Steve Hunegs, the executive director of the Jewish Community, replied that she is very active in the affairs of Minnesota and has featured in events of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs.
Her policy coincides with the pro-Isreal as she was the only one who voted to approve a law to consolidate $38 billion in defense assistance for Israel.
She remains a key candidate for the Orthodox umbrella groups that hew closer to the American right as she has spoken for the advocacy of federal funding for the religious sector.
This is wrong and has been rightly condemned. To quote the American Jewish Committee, "[The views of Otzma Yehudit] do not reflect the core values that are the very foundation of the State of Israel."https://t.co/r0VMI3FicH
