Who Is Mark Flanagan, BBC Jo Coburn's Husband?
Mark Flanagan was Chief Executive of Portland from 2020 to 2022 and has worked in the media and communications throughout his career.
He leads a global team consisting of nearly 300 people across seven markets.
He joined Portland in 2010 and, for many years, led the agency’s digital, content and research capabilities. Mark became UK Managing Director in 2016 before taking over as global CEO in January 2020.
During his time at Portland, Mark has advised various senior leaders in business and government on communications strategies.
Previously, Mark was head of strategic communications at 10 Downing Street, working for the Labour and Coalition Governments.
He began his career in radio and was Managing Director of LBC from 2002 - 2005.
