Michael Steele Wife Andrea Steele And Their Family Life In Maryland

Michael and Andrea were University classmates. The couple met each other for the first time at Johns Hopkins University.

Andrea is popularly known as the partner of the politician. Besides that, she is an educated woman with her own identity and personality. She holds a degree in Bussines studies from Wharton. After graduation, she became the vice president of Riggs Bank. But she left the job after becoming a mother.

Andrea actively participates in works related to charity and social work. She is operative with the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Landover Hills and is also associated with Catholic charities. 

Despite being known to everyone as a political sweetheart, she loves to keep her life private. She rarely attends political events. In fact, there is a very few photos of her with her husband in the public domain. 

They were featured on the list of Political sweethearts by BET. They were among the couple who pledged their love for life.

Steele was raised in the Petworth neighborhood of northwestern Washington, D.C. He was adopted by William and Maebell Stelle when he was an infant. 

He lost his dad in 1962, and his mom worked a minimum-wage job to raise the kids. She refused to appeal for public assistance as she did not want the government raising Michael and his sister.

With a life full of struggle, Michael completed his higher education and succeeded as a political commentator. 

After graduation, he got married to Andrea Derritt in 1985. The couple is blessed with two children from their marriage. Currently, he is living a happy and fulfilled life with his family.

Michael and Andrea have two adult sons together. Their names are Michael and Drew. Steele is a huge animal lover and has a dog named Bruce in the family.

The first child is named after his father. He was born in 1988, and he is a 35-year-old adult now.

The younger son, Drew, was born in 1991 and is 32 years old as of 2023.
