Miniyothabo Baloyi Biography
Miniyothabo Baloyi is the army colonel and new wife of Zimbabwe Vice President Constantino Chiwenga. She was born and raised in Nkayi, Bulawayo, Matebeleland North, Zimbabwe, and is Army Colonel and language translator by profession.

Baloyi received her primary and secondary education in Zimbabwe. Then, she studied Chinese Language Mandarin at PLA University of Foreign Languages China in 2005.
Chiwenga's wife obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chinese from the university. She received a Master's and Doctoral degree from Midlands University in Business Administration, Business Leadership, and Management in 2019.
She has served in the army of Zimbabwe National Army since her 20s. Baloyi was an ordinary member of the national military who got promoted to colonel. The upgrade was possible due to her educational background and connections with the former army commander and current vice president of Zimbabwe.
Being a member of the national army, Baloyi plays a crucial role in Zimbabwe's government as a linguistic translator, mostly between Zinanwean and Chinese government officials. She is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, French, Zulu, Shona, and Ndebele, which makes her perfect as a translator for the government.
