Robert Blondin, Elaine Luria's Husband, Net Worth And Navy Career

Elaine was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on August 15, 1975, Birmingham, Alabama. In 1906, her mother's family migrated to Jasper, Alabama.

In 1993, Elaine completed high school at Indian Springs School. After four years, Luria graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the United States naval academy.

She did a bachelor's with two major subjects: physics and history, and a minor in French. Also she attended the United States Naval Nuclear Power School.

In 2004, Elaine earned a master of science in engineering management from Old Dominion University, and along with that, she was serving in the Navy and stationed aboard the flagship USS Blue ridge.

Elaine Luria began her Military Career while doing her master's degree at Old Dominion University. She served as a naval officer for 20 years.

She operated nuclear reactors as an engineer, where Elaine rose to the rank of Commander. She became the first female American sailor to spend her entire career on combat ships.

During her Navy career, Elaine commanded Assault Craft Unit Two from 2014 until her retirement in 2017.

After the September 11 attacks, Elaine Luria held a Passover seder on an aircraft carrier.

Elina ran for the United States House of Representatives election, where she got 62% of the vote, defeating Karen Mallard, who received 38%.

She won the general election defeating Scott Taylor with 51% of the vote to Taylor's 49%. Elaine Luria was sworn in on January 3, 2019.

Along with her other 101 female members, Elina was elected to the United States House of Representatives. 

Also, she shared a video announcing her support for an impeachment inquiry into former president Donald Trump.

In 2020, again, she ran for reelection and defeated Taylor in a rematch, where she got help from Joe Biden.

Elaine is running for reelection in 2022. She is focusing her campaign on defense policy and avoiding highlighting Bidens $1.5 trillion Build Back Better spending plan, for which she voted.

As of June 2022, the wife of Robert had voted in line with Hoe Biden's stated position and voted for H.R. 1808.

She was appointed to the special committee to investigate the January 6 Attack on the Capitol in 2021.

In July 2022, Adam Kinzinger and Elaine co-led the eight public hearings, which focused on Trump's inaction to his Rose Garden speech.

Elaine's mother, Michelle's family, migrated to Jasper, Alabama. Her mother's family sold all goods to coal miners in Alabama.

Her grandfather helped to set up a Reform Jewish congregation in Jasper. After that, her family joined the Temple Emanu-El in Birmingham.

Elaine's grandfather and mother were active members of the  National Council of Jewish Women, and her mother was president of that organization.

She married retired naval commander Robert Blondin in 2005, and they have three children.

Robert and Elaine have two sons and one daughter. Their daughter was born in 2009, and her name is Violet.

They live with their children in their house in Norfolk, Virginia.

Jen Kiggans is the opponent of elaine for the Nov 8 election 2022 in Virginia's 2nd congressional district. Jen was first elected in 2019.

She ran for the Virginia Senate for the 7th district, where he defeated Virginia Beach school member Carolyn.
