Todd Palin was the son of James F. Jim and Blanche Palin, born on September 6, 1964, in Alaska.
His stepmother, Faye plain, is a politician and ran for the position of mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. He has a half-sister. Her name is Diana Palin.
Palin graduated from Wasilla High School in 1982, the same school attended by his wife and their two children.
Todd Palin was a steelworker at the beginning of his career and was also a member of the United Steelworkers Union.
He later joined a British multinational oil and gas company, where he worked for 18 years. He was a production supervisor of the company.
In 2006 he became the first gentleman of Alaska and encouraged students to pursue their jobs in the oil and gas company.
