3. It Is Not The First Time Sharon Elghanayan Said Her Vows.

As stated before, Sharon Elghanayan is not a saint as she has tried twice before meeting the love of her life and husband, Jon S. Corzine.

But the Republican businessman had an even more public marriage when he got smitten by his high school sweetheart, Joanne Dougherty. They went to the same university at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

At 22, they decided it was a commitment for a lifetime as they began their 33 years of togetherness. He had a goal in mind as they packed their bags and drove to California, commencing his Ph.D. program in economics at U.C.L.A. His future got cut short after receiving a letter from his draft board as he had just enlisted in the Marines.

The military toughened him as he was the only college graduate in his baton and the youngest among the lineup of men. After discharge, he became a different person and moved to Chicago by himself for a period to find jobs.

The coupling resulted in three kids, a daughter, Jennifer, and sons, Josh and Jeffrey. From the outside, they looked like a rather content household in their residence at Summit, New Jersey.

Perhaps one of the most crucial parts of Sharon Elghanayan's husband Jon Corzine's career was as the 54th New Jersey Governor.

The republican began campaigning and spent $38 million in his quest to get to the set as he hoped to implement his policy of property taxes during the Bush administration. With over 54 percent of the votes, he successfully won the majority opinion and took office in January 2006.

The citizens were in immediate speculation about his rule as his approval numbers were very low. His arguable plan for the controversial Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway did not aid his case as the guidelines brutally failed after gathering just over one million signatures. Paying no mind to the naysayers, he pushed the retirement age to 62, made employees contribute one percent of their salary to health care costs, and even suspended Lincoln's Birthday as a state holiday.

Hence, he faced a never-ending stream of backlash, leading him to deny his salary in his first year.

The following year was worse when creating the 2007 fiscal year budget, facing rebuttal from the Democrats of the state, resulting in a closed down of all non-essential state government services. The six days of shutdown diminished any chances of his reelection for the next term.
